Job Requirements

As our Underwriting Audit Manager, you will utilize your expertise and leadership skills to develop and direct a team to support growth, retention, and profitability goals. Your background combined with your strong leadership skills, will enable you to build the team, establish processes and procedures as necessary, and report data trends to the leadership team. In this critical role, you will gain broad exposure working closely with departments such as IT, Customer Service, Sales, Quality Assurance, and the Leadership team, ensuring that our producers meet high quality standards. A majority of the work completed by the auditor will be on a post policy issuance basis therefore accuracy, attention to detail and effective decision making skills are vital to the success of the team. Additionally, your ability to mentor, guide, develop, coach, and support employee growth on the Auditing Team will be vital to growing a successful department.

Key responsibilities for this role will be to:

Build team structure and processes and then recommend and implement enhancements

Monitor and track results and provide timely trend analysis and feedback to management and staff

Use best practices, other departments and industry available information to enhance audit processes and tools

Work with management to set audit standards for both experienced and new producers

Supervise Auditors ensuring quality of producer interactions
