Washes all steel parts with Power Washer to prepare parts for Powder Coating or Wet Paint operations. Requires knowledge of general washing instructions, special washing instructions for specific parts, and the ability to load the washing fluids and do maintenance on the washing unit. Knowledge and use of protective wear for this job.
Receive finished parts from production to prepare for paint or powder coat operations.
Remove parts from skids/boxes for power washing.
Washed parts are then placed on hooks and then racks for drying.
Place racks of washed parts in Dryer for final drying.
After drying, parts are then prepped for Powder Coat or Wet Paint
Load washing compound in the Power Washer.
Maintain quality and storage of hooks and racks.
Ensures shop cleanliness in Wash Area.

Education and/or other Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and hazardous chemicals.
While performing washing job employee is exposed to hot water with temperatures ranging from 250 up to 275 .
Ability to perform duties in extreme heat.
Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment and risk of electric shock.
