Loads and unloads trucks, Receives, stores, distributes and cleans materials, tools, equipment, and products within the Compass Rose Events, Inc. Warehouse by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads production schedule and/or load list to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving, production, and/or cleaning areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Assembles loads from stock and places on pallets or brings equipment to truck.
Marks materials with identifying information, such as, quantities, type, location codes, etc.
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Cleans all event and warehouse equipment as needed.
Occasionally drive company vehicles on company property.
Makes basic repairs to damaged event and warehouse equipment.
Participates in annual inventory and other warehouse special projects as needed.
Maintains daily warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Adheres to and promotes company safety guidelines with regards to lifting and moving materials and driving company vehicles.
Acts as an event manager as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to use a Pallet Jack.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
