Noora Health’s mission is to improve outcomes and save lives of patients by empowering family caregivers with the skills they need to care for their loved ones.
Noora turns hospital hallways and waiting rooms into classrooms by tapping into the most compassionate resources available for the patient’s care - the patient’s own family - turning these worried family members into skilled caregivers. The Care Companion Program (CCP) is currently implemented at more than 150 government hospitals across India and Bangladesh and over 1,000,000 patients and family members have been trained by the CCP. Research on the program has found improved health behavior uptake, decrease in post-surgical complication rates, and decrease in newborn complications/readmissions. Noora’s COVID-19 response has reached more than 15 million people.
Noora Health was launched out of Stanford University in 2014, and has been supported by many large philanthropic foundations including Mulago, Draper Richards Kaplan, Echoing Green, Ashoka, Medtronic and Jasmine among others. For more information:

Noora’s goal is to expand beyond its current work in India and to serve patients in Bangladesh, where we will develop, launch, and implement a context-specific, needs based, interactive, and adaptable intervention local to Bangladesh. Currently Noora Health has been supporting the Govt. of Bangladesh and local health authorities in mitigating COVID-19 pandemic by creating awareness through digital media and tele-training platforms. Very soon the Care Companion Program (CCP) will be started in Cardiology, Maternal Child Health and General In-patient conditions in the Govt. Hospitals. This program expansion needs the Training Manager who will be helping the organization in designing, developing, and delivering training.
You want to democratize healthcare and are an exceptional problem-solver and leader. You are, of course, a team player and excellent communicator, but you are also an independent and creative thinker, with no problem taking the reins through to completion. You are a doer and a go-getter.
You love checklists. You don't like to sit behind shiny glass panels building imaginary plans all day. You like to hit the ground running, get your hands dirty and if required jump in knee-deep waters to not just figure out the problem, but lead from the front to solve it.
You have the grace of diplomacy, treat others with humble kindness, while possessing the confident leadership skills necessary to build capacity on the teams that you manage.
You will not only be a doer but an innovator as well in helping us prototype changes that will build a more robust training program.
You will be expected to work in the urban and rural health facilities both in the public and Private sectors. Both environments are crucial in our ability to scale, and we need our Training Manager to possess the graces required to adapt.Willing to travel to remote places within the country and abroad when required.
Knowledge of Instructional Designing (ID), course designing, Curriculum Development, LMS/CMS platforms
Basic computer skills- email, G-drive, windows office, handling accessories like projectors, speakers etc.
One with good communication and training skills
Possessing the confident leadership skills necessary to build capacity of the teams members
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing, developing, and delivering training
CCP quality improvement through handholding and booster training
Motivating and engaging the trainers through in-person visits and virtual platforms
Managing LMS/CMS platforms
Writing training manuals
Managing Noora Trainers (if any)
Contributing to the training team’s strategy planning
Seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training
Extensive knowledge for creating instructional materials
Effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
Making attractive power point presentation
Additional roles and responsibilities
Supporting the medical team in content developmentSupporting the design team in design projects and translation works
Partnering with the research team for training related studies
Bachelor’s degree - Medical Sciences / Nursing / Public Health
Master’s degree - Nursing / Public Health / Social Sciences and Development Studies
Of the 5-7 years of experience, minimum of 3 years of training experience is preferred
Experience in Public Health is preferred
Must be fluent to read/write/speak in English & Bengali & knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
