-Maintenance staff are on duty at weekends in case of emergencies, such as in restaurants. This means that the SV will always be contacted and will only receive a special allowance if he has to go out.
-Supervisor is not required to be on standby at weekends, but he is responsible for the maintenance team's response to weekends and public holidays.
-This may not be the right position for someone who has never had to deal with telephone calls or other remote support on weekends.
-This position will be treated as a normal maintenance staff position for the first month or two, and then promoted to a management position if it suits you.
