Our client company is seeking an experienced Textile Application Specialist to provide the technical guidance for new applications, material selection, and physical lab testing for new and existing products.

You must be willing to:

• Define/execute new application concepts to meet product marketing/innovation strategies

• Translate application requirements into product (material) requirements

• Maintain/expand new application test methods

• Initiate application development projects with multidisciplinary teams

• Support the technical sales engineers in the market launch of new products

• Report general trends in application development

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

• BS Engineering degree (textile/mechanical/aerospace/materials science)

• 10+ years’ experience in product/application development of fibers/textiles/composites/laminates/related

• Broad knowledge/experience of fiber/composite materials behavior/the mechanics & physical laboratory testing

• Experience providing technical support to Product Development/Technical Service/Sales & Marketing/Customers- End User with new product/applications
