Printing Maintenance Technician--Williamsville, NY
Duties include but not limited to:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, PM and other tasks on production equipment and facilities.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems. Routinely observe equipment operation to ensure equipment is operated to manufacturer specifications and generally accepted practices.
Read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics. Ability to read basic to complex electrical drawings is a necessity.
When needed act as liaison with main facility maintenance team and equipment vendors, including scheduling of equipment PM, facility repairs, etc, with outside services.
Order spare parts and emergency services as needed.
May be required to perform basic machine shop fabrication.
Operates basic repair machinery (saw, lathes, grinders, etc.)
May be called upon to perform work outside of normal schedule shift.
Help maintain Plant Preventive Maintenance Program.
Perform tasks safely and in accordance with Ashton Potter health &safety, attendance and other company policies and procedures. Inform supervision of unsafe conditions or practices.
Keep work area clean and organized..
Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
High school diploma or GED
2 year technical school in mechanical maintenance
Minimum 2 years consecutive work experience as a maintenance mechanic or machinist
Minimum 1 plus years proven experience using lathe, milling and machinery
Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
US citizen or permanent resident
