Experienced Lead Nurse (Nurse Manager) Community Health
A healthcare practice providing comprehensive, integrated, and compassionate care to underserved local communities, you will play a critical role on the primary care team as the bridge between primary care and behavioral health services is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager.
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for training, supervising, and supporting an energetic group of staff nurses. The Nurse Manager will also work with medical leadership to continue to define the future of nursing including improved workflows for care coordination, rolling out nurse education visits and much more. Ensure appropriate Provider/Nurse/Medical Assistant ratios and coverage with support from Director of Nursing as needed. Responsible for weekly schedule edits in response to any last-minute changes including changes in staffing ratios and sick calls. Treat patients in the Center for fifty percent of the time and perform management and administrative duties to improve the health center the remainder of the time.
Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing - Master’s preferred. Licensed in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse with 3+ years of experience in nursing with recent clinical experience in outpatient medical setting. Leadership experience. Good communication skills, particularly with staff and patients from diverse cultures.
