The Medical Director is the medical quality leader with a scope that includes supervising all primary care providers, ensuring risk management and quality of care, developing, and implementing medical and quality aspects of the clinic operations. Provides leadership to implement primary care goals and objectives for medical and clinical operations. Provide strategic input to planning, quality of care, regulatory compliance, and clinical integration.
Establishes measurable performance expectations (productivity, quality of care, timely completion of medical records and patient care, charting, and other administrative duties). Provides regular supervision, coaching, counseling, evaluate providers working across primary care clinics.
Works closely with cross-division leadership and clinic management on the development and refinement of an integrated model of care and a model of clinical quality for primary care clinics. Experience providing clinical services to individuals with both chronic medical and behavioral health conditions, and have interest in serving complex, vulnerable, homeless, and disabled populations, preferred.
Practice consists of 3 primary care physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, medical and administrative staff. Monday through Friday schedule with approx. about 28 clinical hours per week and dedicated administrative time for the medical directorship as well as fulfilling other administrative duties.
