*Troubleshoot /repair defective ACATS systems
*Develop ACATS project from start to finish: developing or modifying an ACATS test program from receipt of request to its successful integration/operation
*Develop Test Program Sets (TPS) for moderate to complex electrical/electronic devices and aircraft systems/modifications
*Research/develop parts list, item part number, quantity, and 3 suggested sources of supply (when available) for ordering parts required for TPS build and/or modification
*Incorporate parts list (connectors, wire, shrink tubing, etc.) needed to build TACs into drawing drafts for submission to Graphics Department
*Complete TAC cable design draft IAW Graphics Style Process Guide for submission to Graphics Section for draft drawing conversion to an approved drawing
Requires…
*Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Electronics Technology; or military/civilian electronics/avionics maintenance trade school
*2+ years hands-on experience in testing/troubleshooting wiring systems and/or electronic assemblies to component level using manual/automatic test equipment
*Able to use standard wiring hand tools, including but not limited to: strippers, crimpers and soldering tools, used in the fabrication of wire harnesses
*Able to design/draw wiring items as needed such as an ACATS Test Adapter Cable (TAC) with a complete parts list
*Ability to perform ACATS testing/programming functions with minimal supervision
*Working computer knowledge/experience to be able to assist installing/maintaining/calibrating ACATS equipment software programs
*Proficient in the use of basic computer tools such as MS Office suite, Adobe, SQL, Paint, etc.
MUST be a U.S. Citizen, per DHS guidelines to work in this facility.

*Must be able to pass company provided training within 6 months if no prior training
*Possess any manufacturer’s OEM ACATS programming and maintenance certification training.
