Responsibilities of the Maintenance Setup Technician:
Machine setup, in accordance with set up procedures, work instructions, and production equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments.
Review production schedule and follow priorities.
Maintain spares inventory.
Participate in safety & EH&S programs.
May initiate purchase order for parts and machines.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Maintenance Setup Technician:
HS Diploma or GED required
2-5 years experience in facilities maintenance on production machinery
Experience in an FDA regulated environment a big PLUS
Able to work evenings/weekends as needed as well as participate in the on-call rotation
Strong troubleshooting skills
Good documentation practices
Able to work independently
Good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
