Fruit Farm Worker

Position Overview

The Fruit Farm Worker will be responsible for planting, irrigating and harvesting crops.

Primary Responsibilities

-Plant, fertilize, cultivate, and irrigate apple, pear and plum plants

-Examine fruit for quality

-Working from ladder to extract fruit

-Detect and report problems with crops

-Other duties as required

Qualifications:

-Experience with fruit an asset

-Driver’s license is an asset

-Ability to drive tractors is an asset

Locations in Waterloo Region

$15.50/hr

Competencies:

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable working on feet and/or ladder for several hours per day in a variety of weather conditions

Multi tasking abilities
