Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking to a Regional Store Director for our client in Wyoming, MI. This person will be managing multiple stores locally. The responsibilities include establishing and maintaining outstanding customer service while ensuring that the store teams meet their goals and remains efficient. This candidate will maintain effective day to day operations and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Work closely with salespeople in the field to make complete store calls/audits, increase orders with dairy personnel for products out of stock or boost inadequate stock inventories, relay instructions and suggestions via voicemail to representatives from individual stores.
Interpret store departmental financial and operating statements and advise owners on the strengths and weaknesses within the operation.
Ensures compliance with all laws, policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk through and audits, etc.
Promote team member engagement and morale by understanding individual motivation and needs, recognizing, and rewarding successful performance, and helping them achieve career goals.
Maintain a fully staffed team and leading recruiting and on-boarding for all levels in the store.
Cultivate a learning culture by providing exceptional on-boarding and development opportunities, along with coaching and feedback to team members.
3+ years’ management experience required.
1 year of experience in a grocery or retail store required.
Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including travel, to meet the needs of the business including nights, weekends, holidays.
Able to travel up to 25% locally.
