PLEASE NOTE: You must have experience in Nuclear or Energy Plant.

This facility provides chemical conversion for commercial use in the nuclear and energy operations. As the Site’s Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the engineering activities to support the day-to-day operations of the site and oversee training and qualifications for personnel on assigned jobs and systems.

In this role, you will identify applicable systems that will be assigned to qualified system engineers with requisite knowledge of the systems safety design and operating limits. The Site Engineering Manager will administer and approve any modification to the safety bases or configuration of assigned systems, structures and components and will also provide oversight on the review and approval of work on assigned systems. You will maintain configuration management of the design bases and ensure continued operational readiness of assigned systems. This position will manage the development and implementation of design changes and will identify and implement improvement/modifications to critical design characteristics of equipment on these systems.

Other responsibilities will include leading systems and component troubleshooting and will guide the technical support to control room and plant operations. You will need to possess strong organizational skills, advanced PC skills, ability to apply organizational practices, policies, and procedures. You will also be required to maintain discretion to properly discern and safeguard highly sensitive information and documents.

Minimum requirements for the energy facility Site Engineering Manager position:

• Bachelor's Degree

• At least 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required

• At least 4 years of nuclear experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential.
