Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships for a construction company. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities
Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
Manage relationships with banks
Qualifications
Over 5 years of experience working as a CFO for a national construction company.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related field.
Over 10 years of experience in Construction Finance/Accounting with annual revenues exceeding $200,000,000.
Strong management experience in a high growth company (will be managing a team of 6 and growing)
Strong finance-based analytical skills
7 - 10 years' of finance experience
CPA or MBA preferred but not required

The ideal candidate for this role would be a 5+ year experienced CFO who comes from the Construction Industry and has strong leadership skills as well as management experience. Our client highly requires a professional executive who has managed annual revenue and capital markets on a large scale.
