We are a busy, growing mental health clinic searching for a full-time medical office manager who is interested in becoming part of our team (long-term). Our candidate should have experience and be competent in fulfilling the following responsibilities:
Personnel management including staff employment & oversight, staff training, coaching, & corrective action, and empathetic while maintaining healthy boundaries with staff and patient.
In this position the office manager will be responsible for the daily practice and business operations including: training, management, & and enforce company policy & procedure, administrative support of clinical staff (including licensing, malpractice insurance, etc, and clinician insurance credentialing & maintenance), instruct and manage adherence to HIPAA regulations, EHR management (including training & support for administrative staff & providers), support and training for billing personnel, customer support & service, new patient triage/intake, administrative staff & patient education & responsibility, update/maintenance of practice legal documentation, concerning, opening & closing the office (hours of operation are M-TH 6:30 AM-5:00 PM), coordination of cleaning/disinfecting, coordination of maintenance, need & coordination of office supplies, IT & Network management support, phone system, printers/fax, computer system management; including interfacing w/IT support providers.
This position will require the office manager to highly computer literate including proficiency with Office 365 (incl Excel & Word), PDF’s, internet savvy, have a basic understanding and competence with office IT networking, and become proficient using our practice management program (we currently use Kareo).
* Medical Billing and Coding (Preferred), knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, familiarity with Coordination of Benefits (COB)
