Marketing Assistant - for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. This position provides support to the Chief Marketing Officer and marketing department, including administrative support for various projects and initiatives.
Duties for this position include:
Assist with creation of documents for Business Development.
Schedule/organize meetings with lawyers and groups. This includes conference calls, video conference calls, and webinar presentations. Prepare agendas and other materials.
Field requests for CLE credit in conjunction with client presentations in key jurisdictions and submit all required information within deadlines.
Manage firm accreditation in key jurisdictions, maintain program credit requirements by state, and monitor accreditation status as needed. Maintain library of CLE program materials and details.
Assist with accounting and budget requests.
Create weekly/quarterly e-alert client communications.
Maintain inventory of marketing materials.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree, A minimum of one year of administrative experience in a fast-paced professional environment is required. Experience in a law firm or similar professional services setting is ideal. Previous experience processing Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit and managing programs a plus. Strong project management and organizational skills. Responsive and service oriented. Strong attention to detail. Solid oral and written communication skills. Ability to multitask. Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe CS6. InterAction skills a plus. Proactive and able to make recommendations for improving processes and procedures.
