Warehouse and Administration Assistant

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse and Administration Assistant to join our team based at our Roma Office. This position will report to the Branch Manager and will be responsible for contributing to the warehousing, parts and operational administration functions. The position will be a mixture of warehouse duties as well as assisting with administration and office functions when needed. This position is an entry level position and would suit a recent school leaver, or someone looking for a new start. Exposure to a stores or warehouse environment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities and Duties

Warehousing and Parts Administration, including but not limited to:

Daily parts activity, including receipting, picking, packing, dispatching, cycle counts, expediting, updating parts locations and labelling parts;

Monitor safety stock levels, stock adjustments, supersessions, workshop consumables and PPE;

Utilise the SAP system to conduct goods receivable and dispatch all associated documentation;

Load and unload trucks;

Assist with stocktaking and asset transfers;

Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the stores environment, including daily rubbish removal.

Operational Administration, including but not limited to:

Assist with general branch administration duties as required, including documentation and record keeping;

Raise customer service (CS) orders, job opening and purchase orders;

Book travel and accommodation for technicians and broader team;

Oversee maintenance of the calibration, tooling, equipment and vehicle registers, including booking vehicle maintenance;

HSE obligations and reporting.

The ideal person be able to demonstrate:

Flexibility & the capability to remain calm in an ever changing environment

Ability to prioritise workloads with an eye for detail

Good computer skills (Microsoft word and excel)

Forklift license is beneficial, or the ability to gain one
