Seeking an Registered Nurse for an Employee Health Coordinator position.

• Develops and implements goals, objectives, policies and procedures to provide employee Employee health and wellness services to employees, auxiliary, physicians and students

• Provides employee Employee health services to employees, Auxiliary, physicians and students. Services include immunization programs, counseling, EAP, post screen offers, fit testing/ health screening for respirators, exposure follow up, worker rehabilitation, addressing safety and health concerns, training, wellness programs, assistance with health issues affecting job performance and referrals.

• Provides support and advice to managers in dealing with employee issues

• Chairs / serves on committees related to employee health & wellness; prepares reports, as requested, for these committees

• Administers the Workers Compensation program, Preferred Worker program and the Employer at Injury program with an understanding and knowledge of applicable regulations

• Administers the American with Disabilities Act program

• Administers the Early Return to Work program with an understanding and knowledge of applicable regulations and the process of worker rehabilitation

• Problem-solves with Rehabilitation Services to address injury prevention and ergonomic needs of employees

• Addresses fitness for duty needs with managers, employees and physicians

• Participates with the Coos Health & Wellness Department and Infection Control program with regard to infectious diseases of employees

• Evaluates/recommends equipment needs

• Evaluates needs for contract services

• Develops and maintains QPI program

• BSN minimum

• RN licensed or eligible for license in the state of Oregon

• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) or must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 60-day grace period

• Certification in Employee Health, Case Management and/or Safety desirable

• Five to seven years recent experience in an acute care hospital setting
