3-5 years' supervising in union environment - heavy industry experience required.
Good computer skills.
Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, housekeeping and in fabricating parts and tools.
Evaluate cost reduction opportunities; introduce new preventative maintenance technology programs ensuring programs meet manufacturer, company and industry standards.
Record and analyze data to determine mechanical programs.
Troubleshoot equipment and/or machinery malfunctions to determine root cause and develop corrective action plans to rectify problems.
