Our client company is seeking an experienced manager to oversee daily plant operations, supervision of professional staff, project management, implementation of plant goals and objectives, safety, maintenance programs and change management.

You must be willing to:

• Supervise staff (hiring/training/evaluate performance/provide compensation recommendations/develop budgets/determine disciplinary actions)

• Develop/implement overall production/manufacturing strategy

• Provide leadership for the implementation/compliance of site environmental/safety/health

• Bring a culture Continuous Improvement to the organization

• Recommend capital/process improvement projects

• Implement management changes as required

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

• BS in Engineering (MBA preferred)

• Experience as a plant manager of a small to medium sized operation

• Production manager of a significant size operation considered

• Experience with Six Sigma/Lean Mfg/TPS, Kaizen/PMS or related

• Experience with grain/ethanol/chemicals/refining/agricultural chemicals
