Contract position (NO THIRD PARTY VENDORS)

In this role, it is necessary to ensure the technology compliant with cyber security standards and meets the specific business goals. Responsibilities include information gathering sessions with subject matter experts, documenting results, aggregating reporting, driving segment/ function cyber strategy, and providing the business unit with cyber advisory support.

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study and 5+ years or more years of hands on experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, IT Project/Program management, or a cyber security related field (Seeking strong cyber knowledge, across all cyber domains)

• Experience supporting projects, assessments, or audits related to cybersecurity and cybersecurity frameworks; including cybersecurity governance, cybersecurity risk, and cybersecurity operations

• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including senior management, as well as with technology staff. The ability to be an intermediary between technical individuals and management is essential

• Attention to detail, excellent organizational, time management, project management and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to decompose problems and make decisions when problems or solutions are not 100% defined

• Proven track record that shows the ability to set targets, execute a plan, deliver results, and understand lessons learned applied towards the next project/effort

• Ability to plan and provide structure and organization in a fast paced, changing environment

• Self-motivating and quick-learner, capable of translating IT, IS, and Business ideas, knowledge, and strategy, into objectives and a move forward plan; can work autonomously with little direction.

• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking

• Experience supporting projects, assessments, or audits related to cybersecurity and cybersecurity frameworks; including cybersecurity governance, cybersecurity risk, and cybersecurity operations

• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience

• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and writing skills

• Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills

• Ability to decompose problems and make decisions when problems or solutions are not 100% defined • Proven track record (and references) that show ability to set targets, execute a plan, deliver results, and understand lessons learned applied towards the next project/effort

• Ability to plan and provide structure and organization in a fast paced, changing environment
