Immediate Opening for Outside Sales Representative

Quality Product Finishing, Inc. is the largest Industrial Paint and Powder Coating Company in the Region, with over 45 years in the Coating Industry. We are seeking an experienced and ambitious outside sales professional with knowledge of the Industrial Painting and Coating Industry--with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in Industrial Liquid Paint and Powder Coating Sales.

This individual must be highly motivated and a responsible, hardworking Sales Representative who will identify, acquire and develop new business opportunities that are profitable and sustainable, as well as cultivate and maintain relationships with assigned existing customers and explore new self-generated leads as well as leads provided by the Marketing Department.

Responsibilities:

--Make outside sales calls to current and potential customers to promote orders for painting, powder coating and special films at our facility in Northwest Houston.

--Network and cold call to create new clients as well as research existing assigned clients for additional business opportunities.

--Make 10-20 on-site sales appointments each week to self-generated prospects and provided leads.

--Must be able to review and understand job specifications, as well as Architectural, Structural and Mechanical CAD drawings, in order to perform estimates and bids for customers.

--Negotiate mutually agreeable pricing and terms with customers with approval of management.

--Attend weekly sales meetings with management, providing insight for potential clients and sales for the month.

--Perform other duties as assigned.

--Close sales, finalize contracts and purchase orders, ensure production time of order is met, and effectively work with Operations Team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

--Minimum of 5 years Experience in Commercial and Industrial Sales preferably in the Painting/Coating Industry.

--Proven track record of substantial sales growth in previous sales positions.

--Excellent customer service and communication skills—essential in building long-term relationships with customers.

--Ability to work independently and as a team, with strong verbal and written communications skills.

--Computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and capable of learning company specific software.

--High School Diploma or GED required with some college preferred.
