We are looking for a former teacher or an individual who has majored in childhood education who is interested in being a distance learning tutor for fraternal twins in Minneapolis for the coming school year. Experience with special needs children such as ADHD and Asperger's is preferred. The ideal candidate we'll have exemplary spelling, knowledge of science subjects, and strong math skills.
We are seeking a full-time nanny who wants to enrich the gross of these two eight-year-olds. Please be local to Minneapolis and have former child care experience including a degree from a college or university.
Job Duties
Mild cooking
Mild cleaning/laundry
Tutoring both boys in Science, Math, Writing, History, etc.
Driving the child(ren) to activities
Initiating creative crafts and games
Minimizing electronic use
Exploring the outdoors
Assistance with reading
Constantly talking and interacting with the child(ren)
Taking initiative and time management
Swimming Supervision

Qualifications for Employment
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent
Optimal candidates have a college or university degree, majoring in Early Childhood Education or Teaching (K-12)
Candidates will be CPR Certified
Candidates will be First Aid Certified
Ideal candidates have previously been employed as a nanny, babysitter, or a teacher's assistant in daycare.
