Position Description

A business development analyst is charged with performing analytical tasks for the purpose of discovering, analyzing, leveraging and executing strategies for revenue growthwhile opening channels/distributive sales opportunities and productivity reports to management. You must be naturally curious and hungry for success.

Job location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

•Plan and recommends marketing strategies for the purpose of enhancing company sales and revenue growth.

•Find and recommend new business partners for the company.

•Creates and maintain a marketing plan for a new or existing product/service.

•Develop new sales leads for the company.

•Researches marketing opportunities and communicates to marketing staff.

•Conducts market research into emerging marketing and trends in the industry.

•Develops and implements targeted surveys for the purpose of gathering market information.

•Creates custom reports and generates standard reports for management.

•Conducts organizational studies and work simplification studies to help streamline business processes.

•Prepares procedural and operational manuals for clients and management.

•Designs new business forms, templates and reports for clients.

•Trains other staff on proper use of new technologies, business forms and reports.

•Produces statistical models to help predict market trends.

•Determines target audiences to introduce new product offerings.

•Reads publications and attends seminars on industry trends to aid in keeping ahead of the competition.

•Identifies potential new markets and their needs.

•Communicates with and qualifies sales prospects.

•Assists with writing proposals, contracts, and competitive bidding.

•Analyzes the techniques and successes of the industry players and competition.

Education and Experience

•BSc./HND in Business, Marketing, Accounting,or Finance.

•Master’s degree in Business Administration will be a plus.

•Experience in sales and marketing or Internship in a relevant field.

• Proficiency in digital marketing and new technologies.

•Proficiency in computer operation and business and sales software.

Work Environment

•Must be willing to work long and flexible hours to meet client project deadlines.

•Must be willing to travel to conferences, seminars and client location
