Role Responsibilities

Collaborates with Business Analyst, Product Owner and other business stakeholders to elicit and analyze detailed functional requirements

Collaborates with technical leads and architects to define technical specifications and workflows

Defines the usage of system features and functions to meet business needs

Establishes shared understanding of requirements with cross-functional Agile development team via user stories, process flows, and other analysis techniques

Partners with analysts in other application areas to ensure end-to-end solutions are cohesive

Effectively documents business rules, non-functional requirements, and enhanced features/functionality to support current state documentation

Facilitates front-line systems questions and conducts system research

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical training

5+ years of professional work experience as a business or systems analyst

Experience writing user stories in an Agile/scrum environment

Detailed knowledge of Scrum framework

Experience writing and executing SQL queries, preferably in a DB2 environment

Aptitude with detail and accuracy

Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using JIRA and Confluence

Experience writing Acceptance Criteria in expressive Gherkin format

Knowledge of INVEST principles

Experience with data mapping and writing integrations requirements

Financial industry experience preferred
