Ability to manage the schedule to satisfy changing installation demands. Knowledge of the installation of various generators and other equipment. Self-motivated and must work effectively without direct supervision• Good personal organization, effective communication skills both written and verbal. Very detail oriented and able to read and interpret customer standards, drawings and options. Satisfactory attendance record and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Advanced computer skills required: MS Outlook, Word, Excel. Able to interface with customers to resolve design and efficiency issues. Ability to work well with other departments.
• Develop and implement annual business plan for the service department. Provide direction for the service and repair operations ensuring all repairs are performed within departmental guide lines. Perform audits on all work orders, quotes, invoices for accuracy and proper completion. Resolve any repair or invoice issues in a timely manner. Inspect service vehicles for peak performance and proper inventory levels. Resolve warranty issues. Track staffing need and man hours. Review and approve weekly payroll. Communicate across multiple departments. Perform annual reviews. Conduct regular departmental meeting. Assist in sales.
• Minimum five years field service experience in generator service and maintenance. Possess strong technical aptitude for both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Valid driver’s license.
3-5 years standby generator experience.
