Thermal Lab tech needs Thermal analysis experience (TGA, DMA, TMA, DSC)
Thermal Lab tech requires:
2 years of demonstrated laboratory experience
Rheology background (Torque viscometer, Parallel plate, Capillary)
Electrical testing experience (Voltage Breakdown, capacitance with LCR meter, resistance with megohmeter) •
Mechanical testing (tensile, compression, adhesion)
Microscopy experience (optical, SEM)
Familiarity with long-term aging and shelf-life studies
Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical methods (Minitab)
Thermal Lab tech duties:
Plan and execute analytical tests on developmental and commercial products. Provide timely feedback to customers on project and testing status.
Analyze results and deliver detailed worksheets and scientifically sound reports with data driven conclusions.
Plan and execute applications development utilizing processing equipment such as dispenser, printer and sprayer.
Schedule laboratory tests, prioritize and meet customer timelines and expectations. • Responsibility for equipment: set up, operation, calibration, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation. •
Understand/Assess project needs for various situations, develop technical solutions with an analytical thought process, and design/build set-ups. •
