Currently seeking a Chief Solutions Architect for our Addison, TX office. Interested candidates should have a minimum of 10-years in an architect role in key software development projects such as ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, IoT implementations, etc. and a minimum of 5-years experience in hands-on development, application design in the delivery of software products in the mobile space working with iOS/Android development and React.native.

The roles of the Chief Solutions Architect will be to provide hands-on architecture guidance for both our customer and internal projects, provide leadership and direction to the development and design teams and ensure the delivery of innovative, high quality solutions consistently to schedule. This person will be a technology innovator with a business acumen and exceptional communication skills who has experience growing and motivating a diverse and international technical team. This position is an integral part of the Executive team.

Responsibilities of the Chief Solutions Architect:

Provide technical leadership, mentoring and management to the Development Teams

Lead technical innovation at that is intended to meet our business goals and objectives as we expand into new markets

Lead/facilitate technical strategy and brain storming sessions.

Work with clients to design robust solutions for building new applications by leveraging our existing STAX framework when possible and creating new components that can be incorporate into STAX when innovation is required

Guide the development team to translate customer requirements into architectures and conversely refined, highly efficient designs

Maintain working knowledge of best practices in Data Analytics, Agile Development, DevOps, and Micro-segmentation

Propel forward in areas of program management, automated test, tool selection, and best design practice methodologies

Work closely and be a conduit of communication with business development, product management, development, QA, and the executive leadership team

Collaborate with other technical leads, participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis efforts

Define and maintain standards, procedures and policies related to Information Technology management

Oversee research and development for the application and integration of new tools, technologies, solutions and methodologies into an IT environment

Provide subject matter expert support to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, other Systems Architects, and application teams

Support proposal development across the capture lifecycle from solution development, reviews, estimations (development cost, resource, and technology)

Requirements of the Chief Solutions Architect:

Minimum 10-years in an architect role in key software development projects such as ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, IoT implementations, etc.

Minimum 5-years of experience in hands-on development, application design in the delivery of software products in the mobile space working with iOS/Android development and React.native

Expertise to include enterprise-class software; ideally in the areas of cloud, database, middleware, distributed systems

Track record of building high-quality, innovative enterprise software products / applications that are recognized for the being the best in the market

Background or working knowledge in Machine Learning, AI, and Predictive Analytics

Agile / Scrum Development management experience

Combination of large and small company experience is considered ideal

Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering

Deep knowledge of the following – React.native, React, Angular 8+, NodeJS, XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, NoSQL, SQL, and columlar databases

Working knowledge of cloud provider architectures such as AWS and Azure environments with automated deploy cloud formations

Managed multi-location, international Development Team

Comfortable communicating architecture to all levels of management and customers

Mastery of agile software development methodologies and processes.

Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance resource allocations in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
