An academic medical center located in West Reading, PA, is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrists for psychiatric emergency services. The facility is committed to providing the best healthcare services for the community they serve. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and expertise in clinical judgement, in the care of psychiatric patients. Will provide direct patient care for patients and must have excellent clinical/communication skills and a strong commitment to our patients is required.

An 18-bed medical complexity unit, a 20-bed residential substance abuse detox and rehab, a dedicated C/L service, 40-bed state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric pavilion, and extensive outpatient services throughout Berks County, including partial hospitalization and an Assertive Community Treatment Program. Other services include Medication Assisted Treatment, Behavioral Medicine Pain Management, and a Senior Assessment Program.
