A busy plastic injection part manufacturer is looking for Experienced Die Setters to add to their 2nd and 3rd shift teams. Hours are 3:00pm-11:15pm or 11:00pm-7:15am. This is a Direct Hire position.


Plastic processing, mold change and troubleshooting

Identify and correct safety hazards at press and work cells

Monitors and documents molding process; implements and documents corrective action as needed

Works closely with Front Line Leaders and SCM Team to ensure inventory accuracy

Supports all areas of production as needed

Works with Engineering and SCM on tooling and material tryouts

Pulls and sets molds; starts up presses, robots, and secondary in a safe, efficient manner

Accurately and consistently updates all appropriate areas of technician documentation

Identifies and requests assistance in areas of maintenance and tooling as needed

Participates in technical meetings as required

Supports PFC efforts; provides technical training to C-Techs

Flexible scheduling to meet customer's needs/production needs

Promotes Lean initiative

Participates in root cause problem solving activities

Completes minor tool repair

Required Qualifications:

Performing mold changes

Inspecting platen, bolts, cranes and chains


Experience troubleshooting secondary equipment such as hot stamp is beneficial

Hooking up auxiliary equipment and verify it is running
