Summary: In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a growing business with exciting technology at our fingertips. This leadership role requires a strong communicator, good time management skills, good foresight, and problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone to come in and help run our maintenance department and continue helping push our company to its goals. This position reports directly to the President. The Maintenance Manager will supervise, plan, purchase materials and assist in the budgeting process for all aspects of the day to day general maintenance and repair of greenhouse equipment, transportation equipment, and facilities.

Job Requirements

5-year minimum direct work experience in an upper-level project management capacity, including all aspects of progress development and execution.

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Currently do not use Microsoft Project, Auto CAD LT.

Job Duties

Responsible for the Maintenance Department

Responsible for managing project development from beginning to end.

Responsible for supervising all preventative maintenance schedules

Responsible for conducting safety compliance inspections and maintaining records

Responsible for supervising all preventative vehicle service maintenance

Responsible for getting all fire extinguishers inspected

Responsible for setting up all-new equipment on a preventative maintenance schedule

Responsible for managing the maintenance team

Responsible for maintaining spare parts inventory

Ensures facilities and all relevant equipment and systems are CAL-OSHA compliant.

In depth electrical knowledge/ability to read blueprints / troubleshoot controls.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Work outdoors in inclement weather in degrees less than 32F-100F+; often standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, turning, reaching or climbing for long periods of time.

Work in an office environment, develop reports and written communications as needed; and communicate with office personnel.

Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
