Shift: 1st Shift (8x5 shift – between 7:30a – 5:30p Mon – Fri)


OFFICIAL TITLE: Interventional Radiology RN

WORK SCHEDULE: 8x5 shift – between 7:30a – 5:30p Mon – Fri

• Rotating call schedule for nights, weekends and holidays – every 5th or 6th weekend Fri – Sun

• There is 1 night per week of call - when on call, must be onsite within in 30 minutes of call

• Calls schedule is done every 6 weeks, so there is plenty of time to prepare

• Candidates MUST have at least 3-5 years of overall RN experience, and at least 1 year of direct Interventional Radiology exp. for consideration

• PLEASE NOTE: Candidates without some Interventional Radiology exp. will not be able to be considered for this role

• Candidates should also have experience utilizing Cerner; they can receive some training on this as well, but prior usage on this is highly desired

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required for this role

• They do the pre-work, the procedure and the post-care for this role; there are some FTE’s that also scrub in for the procedures, but that is not a requirement or expectation for contractors

• Expect a variety of patients/procedures – biopsies, GI bleeds, peripheral work, pic lines, etc.

• Very small and collaborative work and team environment – they support each other on various tasks and procedures, swapping hard and easy procedures to ensure no one team member is overworked or burdened unequally

• Covering for an LOA; very high possibility for extension beyond the initial 13-week period
