Unit Description: FLOATING---frequently floats to Tele, Medical Surgical & Stepdown -Total # of beds in the unit: 32. -Average daily census is: 32. -Nurse to patient ratios 1:4 for all shifts. -No Ancillary Staff. -Patients range in age from Adults to Geriatrics. -Unit patient population: Telemetry, Stroke. Patient Care Delivery System: Partners in practice or team. -Medication system: Pyxis profile. Special Unit Procedures: TEE. Meds and drips administered: Dopamine, NTG Not Titrated. -Documentation System: Computerized. -Supplemental Staff required to float to other qualifiede units when necessary. -Scrubs can be any color, RN provides their own scrubs.
