Management Business Solutions is seeking Senior Manager of Financial Transactions & Policies for its client in Pittsburgh, PA. This individual will be responsible for reporting, analysis and audit of complex accounting and financial transactions, including financial results, legally required financial filings and due diligence materials for both internal and external purposes.
Analyze monthly financial results of legal entities, and summarize findings for review by executive management.
Evaluate, document and provide feedback on complex accounting issues and financial transactions identified or proposed by Operating Units, Resource Units, and Business Unit personnel.
Develop and implement procedures for new accounting pronouncements, and develop global accounting and reporting standards.
Assist Business / Resource Unit personnel in the evaluation of potential acquisition and divestiture targets; guidance in valuation assumptions and forecasts; and financial / accounting perspectives on proposed deal structures, terms, and legal commitments.
Assist with preparation and review of SEC filings and quarterly earnings materials.
Manage relationships with personnel within an assigned Business Unit customer base and within the various Resource Units.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration / Business Management required; Master’s in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.
CPA certification, and seven (7) years of financial accounting experience, required.
Knowledge of GAAP and SEC accounting reporting requirements, new GAAP revenue recognition and accounting standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
Experience with mergers, acquisitions, due diligence preferred.
Big 4 or large regional accounting firm experience preferred.
