Human Resources Coordinator
Normal Working Hours/Days: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for a variety of Human Resources administrative duties.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate and administer employee orientation and onboarding of new employees.
Distribute performance evaluations and pay change notices to supervisors.
Post job openings in applicant tracking system.
Manage workers’ compensation and FMLA claims process.
Oversee unemployment claim management and attend claim hearings, as required.
Complete employment verifications for internal and external employees.
Facilitate annual benefits open enrollment and Wellness Screening.
Maintain personnel files.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field; 2 years of HR experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent organization, presentation, writing and communication skills.
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel) and proficiency in HRM systems.
