We are looking for a professional Pharmacy Manager to fill a permanent position for one of our Clients, located in the capital of Saskatchewan.
The hours of work are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The Manager is responsible for the execution and operational rollout of the pharmacy.
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will assist in the planning and controlling the pharmacy's operational budget, promoting business growth, and contributing to the pharmacy's overall success.
You are expected to have strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, to ensure that all functions are performed efficiently and on-time.
As a Manager, you will be also responsible for personnel-related matters, including leave scheduling and monitoring employee tasks/performance.
Maintain inventory so that it is up-to-date through cycle count procedures.
Consult with members of the pharmacy management team when there are unresolved issues surrounding day-to-day work functions.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders. This includes detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
Give counsel to patients regarding prescription medications and OTC products.
Supervise pharmacy assistants by providing guidance and information.
Create a professional and confidential environment for all pharmacy customers and employees.
Plan, administer, organize, and successfully implement all activities in relation to the pharmacy's operations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS-
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. is required
Registration as a Pharmacist in the Province of Saskatchewan is required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment as a Manager
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills (including keeping a positive attitude)
Excellent computer skills; using Microsoft office and related software
Experience in coaching and managing teams to follow company standards
Strong business acumen, including an understanding of the code of ethics and pharmacy law
Skills in communication, critical-thinking, and organization
Capacity to work independently and within a team
A demonstrated satisfactory attendance record and past work performance
Salary: $50 per hour

3 weeks’ vacation after the probationary period is complete.
