We are currently seeking a Title-24 Energy Analyst and Energy Modeler to join our team in Los Angeles, California.
Energy analysts develop and maintain a high-level understanding of energy markets, providing information and analysis to their company and/or clients. These professionals perform data modeling and stay up-to-date on relevant issues and trends within the energy sector. They must present forecasting reports, data, and information on trends in a format that is useful and easily understood to their clients. Additionally, these analysts use the information they have gathered and knowledge of the industry to make recommendations to clients as needed. This is generally a full-time position that takes place in an office setting, although overtime and work outside of regular business hours may be required based on the needs of their business. These individuals may work with many different clients or for one employer. Energy analyst positions generally require at least a bachelor's degree in a related field, although a master's degree is strongly preferred. They should have at least three years of experience in a related analysis position. Energy analysts must have an extensive knowledge of energy sector and have an advanced knowledge of computer programs used to model their data for analysis. Additionally, these analysts need to be able to coordinate work with team members, have strong communication skills, and work well on their own with minimal supervision.
What we need from you:
Ability to independently complete Title-24 Reports and Energy Models
Ability to work with Energy Pro
Effectively complete energy models meeting client expectations and project schedules.
Proficient knowledge of Auto-CAD drafting and understanding of Architecture, H VAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems
Provide support during construction phases.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture
LEED Certification is a plus
CEA or CEPE is a plus
5 years of experience minimum, individuals should have recent experience working for a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm completing Title-24 Energy Models
Experience in the following preferred:
