The Territory Sales Manager leads and manages the sales team.
They are responsible for expanding sales within existing accounts and developing new accounts.
Specifically, the TSM is responsible for the sale of fresh refrigerated food products to grocery, deli, convenience stores, and national/regional distributors.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be an aggressive self-starter with the ability to lead and manage a sales territory independently. Training and strong leadership will be provided but the candidate will not be micro-managed. Specific requirements include:
• Five (5) plus years CPG sales experience calling on grocery, deli, c-store and foodservice classes of trade
• Must have contacts with buyers at major supermarket chains, convenience stores, and national/regional distributors
• Experience selling deli, specialty salads, soups, baked goods, and desserts is required
• Familiar with the buying process with deli buyers
• Excellent presentation/communication skills
• Strong customer service acumen
• Eastern PA, Delaware, Maryland/DC, Massachusetts, Upstate NY, and New Jersey, Connecticut.
• The Territory Sales Manager can live anywhere within the territory
