One of our clients is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist at a pharmacy in Cambridge, ON. The ideal candidate should be personable, detail oriented and demonstrate an ability to remain calm under a variety of situations.

The hourly rate for this position is $40 - $50/hr. with work days from Monday to Saturday, 40 hr. /week. You will be able to work mornings and afternoons, and/or afternoons and evenings. There are benefits involved that includes a 2 week vacation, health/dental, Ontario College of Pharmacist fees and association fees.

The position at this pharmacy will give you the opportunity to be part of a tight knit community with very warm and welcome people. Cambridge is also a good city to experience different cuisines, go to the butterfly conservatory, or watch one of your favorite TV shows being filmed.

Job Description:

•Advise customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment and health-care supplies

•Provide information and advice regarding administration, usage, drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage

•Ensure proper storage and disposal of pharmaceutical products/medications in a manner consistent with legal and professional obligations

•Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently and safely

•Maintain customer medication profiles and records, including but not limited to pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, etc.

•Operate pharmacy computer, register equipment and other assigned tools.

•Maintains confidentiality of patient and employee information, as well as all pharmacy proprietary information at all times

•Evaluate appropriateness of prescription orders with consideration for patient safety and legal requirements

•Provide additional counselling in person or over the phone as required.


•Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy

•Licensed in Ontario

•Minimum 1 year of experience

•Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

•Ability to work efficiently individually and as part of a team
