SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Telecommunications Account Executive in Buffalo, New York. This person will be responsible for a developing a territory in Business to Business Sales through cold calling, networking, and creating lasting customer relationships. This position is a true hunter role providing wireless services and products to smaller, rural markets as well as to emerging markets with new technologies.
Target area business and provide wireless solutions.
Maintain full knowledge of current service and data plans.
Pursue, generate and qualify leads through aggressive sales tactics, such as cold-calling, door-to-door, and networking to new government customers.
Prepare, deliver and follow up on proposals and pricing quotes.
Successfully negotiate and close sales.
Utilize sales tools, such as funnel management and prospecting capabilities.
Provide reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
Execute an account follow-up strategy.
Sell prepaid products within the public sector.
Develop community relations in areas where the government-sector focus has been under-served.
High School/GED required (Bachelor’s Preferred).
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales, cold calling, and phone-based prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments required.
Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales.
CRM experience such as Salesforce a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with proof of insurance.
Must be able to travel throughout local territory.
