The newly hired PA will provide surgical first assist, casting and pins, post-op follow-up, injections, some rounds, scripts, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The position is up to 60% first assist and the balance is office based. The PA handles mostly general orthopedic cases.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and have a Masters in PA Studies. The PA needs to be organized, hard working and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Experienced Orthopedic PA's are required for this position. Candidates should have a Florida license or have started the application process.
The location is within an easy drive to Jupiter, which is in a very desirable and upscale town on the coast of Florida. The area offers reasonable cost of living, all year-round outdoor activities, solid school systems and a great place to raise a family. The group prefers that candidates have ties to the area.
