SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Telecommunications Associate Sales Rep in Raleigh, NC AND Columbia, SC. This person will be responsible for a developing a territory in Business to Business Sales through cold calling, networking, and creating lasting customer relationships. This position is a true hunter role providing wireless services and products to smaller, rural markets.
Target area business and provide wireless solutions.
Maintain full knowledge of current service and data plans.
Pursue, generate and qualify leads through aggressive sales tactics, such as cold-calling, door-to-door, and networking to new government customers.
Prepare, deliver and follow up on proposals and pricing quotes.
Successfully negotiate and close sales.
Utilize sales tools, such as funnel management and prospecting capabilities.
Provide reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
Execute an account follow up strategy.
Sell prepaid products within the public sector.
Develop community relations in areas where business has already been developed.
High School/GED required but would prefer the candidate to have a Bachelors Degree.
3-5 years of outside sales experience, with particular focus on selling into Federal, state, local and tribal governmental agencies.
Record of achievement in meeting / exceeding goals in a commissioned sales environment.
Wireless systems, telecom or high-technology industry experience preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills required.
A lot of travel required within geographic area, up to 75% or more.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, use of CRM Sales Management tools is necessary.
