Construct and assemble data for FY20 budgeting and decision making:

• Set up budget worksheets for SPCS programs, reporting from Oracle Business Intelligence, synthesizing information, and preparing budget worksheets in Excel

• Analyze and consolidate program level budget data

• Complete Tidemark budget entry for assigned SPCS accounts

• Contribute to the preparation of budget narratives (both at the program as well as consolidated level), authoring assigned segments

• Collaborate directly with colleagues and unit leadership on budget preparation and year-end analysis:

• Work directly with SPCS project managers and program leadership to build their FY20 program budgets, and to support regular as well as year-end reporting

• Provide purchasing and transaction approval support and guidance:

• Respond to purchasing questions from residential and administrative staff, providing guidance based on Client's policy

• Verify and/or approve Purchase Card transactions during the peak summer workload for purchasing

• Reconcile complex accounts:

• Execute reconciliation of SPCS Programs revenue and expenditures for assigned accounts

• Execute year end close financial activities, and provide guidance to SPCS staff on year-end close planning


Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

• Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle or other business financial systems

• Strong Excel skills required (including the use of Pivot tables and vlookup formulas)

• Strong analytical skills to review and analyze complex financial information

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Comfort learning new systems and tasks in a fast pace environment.

• Ability to research and interpret complex fiscal policies, assimilate information from a wide range of resources, and act as a resource to others

• Ability to clearly and effectively present information to colleagues at all levels of the organization
