Continuous Improvement Engineer / Kaizen Engineer – Global Manufacturer
Salary $65,000 - $95,000 PLUS Excellent Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Southern USA
This company is the largest North American operating division of its kind. They have an opening for Continuous Improvement / Kaizen Engineer in their expanding facility. You’ll work as a team member to champion the change agent efforts of their Continuous Improvement Program. This position does require experience applying Lean and Kaizen principals.
You’ll use your strong industrial and/or process engineering background and experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Events, Visual workplace, etc.).
You will analyze processes to maximize functionality and throughput. This will be a HANDS-ON position, no desk jockeys! As a Change Agent, you’re expected to utilize your skills to bring these solutions to light, and drive the process improvements. You’ll need soft skill & people skills as you’ll be interacting within a team and present to all levels of the workforce.
The current position is available at our Southern facility. This lovely area provides a great escape from the city life to incredibly scenic mountains, rivers, and lakes. And you are close to the coast. All with temperate weather, charming people and the lower cost-of-living found in the southern region of the USA. You’ll have a generous relocation package to move you and the family.
Requirements for this Continuous Improvement Engineer / Kaizen Engineer:
1. Bachelors’ degree required, engineering related, preferred
2. At least 5 years’ Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing or distribution
3. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training and experience
4. Proficient in Excel, Access and Power Point, i.e. Microsoft Office
5. Must have problem solving, excellent communication skills, organizational skills and analytical skills
