Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon seek to add a full-time Physician Assistant. This Doctor is well-established and has an excellent reputation in the community. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes ASC, MRI, DME and PT/OT. This practice handles a good volume of sports with a focus on upper extremity. The position includes both the OR and the clinic. The new PA will have the following responsibilities:+ Provide surgical first assist+ Perform patient evaluations and eventually run own clinic+ Casting, splints and eventually fracture reductions+ Joint aspirations and injections+ Post-op follow-ups and rounding+ There is no call coverage+ Order diagnostic test and review results+ Patient education and follow-upSuccessful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified. The group desires someone that is from the New England area! The new PA must have excellent interpersonal skills and have a great work ethic. Prefer experienced Ortho PA but will consider new PA with ortho rotation and background in ATC, PT, Ortho tech. etc. The location is great for the ocean lover. Salary is open (depends on experience), plus a bonus.
