Directly supervises employees in the Maintenance Department.
Carries out supervisory and management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
A.S. degree or better in engineering or technically-related field plus 1 – 2 years formal training and/or certificate from a qualified trade or vocational technical school.
Five plus years of successful maintenance management experience utilizing TPM principles, systems and procedures in a high-tech manufacturing or industrial setting.
Possesses good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Proficient in building trades such as plumbing, electrical and equipment repair.
