The Classroom Behavioral Therapist, or “CBT”, works intensively with 1-2 students under the direction of a Coordinating Teacher. The CBT follows a structured ABA regimen, to continually reinforce behavioral changes that truly make a difference in the daily lives of the students and their families. T
he CBT requires an associates or bachelor’s degree in education, special education, psychology, speech, or other developmentally-related field.
A CBT must be self-motivated, physically able to manage active students, and emotionally able to remain patient and focused.
Previous Experience working with children with autism preferred.
