Full-time Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner needed at a top facility in Southern Oregon!
Currently looking to hire a Nurse Practitioner in our Emergency Services department. Our Emergency Department sees an average of 50K visits per year and provides services to patients in and around Jackson County.
This is a 0.7 FTE position, in which you will be practicing independently within a busy emergency department. Shift times go from 0700 to 0100.
License / Certification: Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN). Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified from American Heart Association. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Experience: Minimum one year NP experience in an Emergency Department is highly preferred. May also consider post-clinical experience as an NP with a minimum of 2 years in an emergency department as an RN or experience in a similar environment such as Urgent Care or Family Practice that included Urgent Care.
