We are currently accepting resumes for an Administrative Associate in Columbus, OH.

This is a contract/temporary position with AEP at their downtown headquarters currently scheduled through the end of November.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

- Support processing of leases for the Information Technology and Telecommunications departments

- Reviewing invoices from the infrastructure provider and the lease financing partner, as well as, entry of information into the lease tracking system

- Performs a variety of administrative functions

- Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations

- Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports

- May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget

- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

- Performs a variety of tasks, so a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required

- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

Required Skills and Experience:

- High school graduate or GED High school or GED or equivalent education and/or experience is required

- Experience in utilizing administrative office procedures, practices and equipment (i.e. business English, grammar, spelling, punctuation, letter writing, telephone technique) desirable

- Must possess the ability to organize data and processes and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

- Experience necessary for this position should include a total of 18 months of related experience or the equivalent, normally obtained by progression through the classification of Administrative Associate III

- Displays good analytical and problem solving skills

- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and the use of office oriented software products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Successful completion of the Support and Administrative (SASS) selection tests

- Requires excellent attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision and strong oral and written communication skills

- Candidates will need to work well with various internal and external business partners

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Previous lease processing or other accounting process experience is a plus
